Scottish VW California owners' meet, March 2015

We’re organising another get-together for owners of VW Californias (and similar) on 28-29 May at Glen Nevis – please come along !  Prior to our gathering for lunch in the Autumn the last time we organised a camping weekend was at Loch Morlich in March 2015 where a total of 15 campervans turned up.

You can find further information on the event on the VW California Forum. Once booked, please confirm that you’re coming on the events page.

Since this is May bank holiday weekend the reserved pitches will book up soon, so if you’re thinking of coming don’t delay !  You can just turn up without a reservation – there are 150 non-allocated pitches – but it’s unlikely you’ll be positioned near to others from our group.  I’d advise you arrive on site early afternoon (you can get on from midday) to be sure of getting a pitch – the site will probably be full that night.

The plan is to organise a group meal on the Saturday evening and the Glen Nevis restaurant/bar just adjacent to the campsite.  If there’s sufficient interest we can also see who fancies going walking, mountain biking or whatever on the Sunday.

This will be the third time VW California owners have met for a camping weekend, previous venues being Blair Atholl and Loch Morlich (Aviemore).  I hope we’ll have a great turnout – please let me know if you’re interested in coming.
